Went back and forth over this light and finally picked one up. Oozes quality and very bright, as expected; 300 lumens appears accurate. Very floody, obviously not able to be a big thrower, although better than expected for such a tiny reflector paired with the XP-G. Excellent construction, and the UI is as good as you'll find in an EDC. Clip keeps it put, finish durable and clean. I'd REALLY like to see this light available with the newer high output XP-E for a little more throw, like my SC31. |

The numerous modes are the deal-breaker for this flashlight. The xp-g is great in that there is less of a noticeable transition between the flood and spot (compared to the R2). A very versatile light that I have already given a bit of abuse. The anodising on mine was very light in colour compared to my older H50. Not a problem but it is more of a mid-grey than the picture eludes. I hope that it is as reliable in the long term as my last Zebralight. |

This is my favorite flashlight! It is hard to believe how small it is (<4 inches). I haven't seen any 18650 light that comes close to this size. And though small, it is extremely bright.
I really like the electronic switch, and the user interface is fantastic! From off a quick click gets you the high level, a slightly slower click gets you low, and a double-click gets you medium. It is so easy to get to the desired level.
I highly recommend this light.

I collect flashlights, and this is by far my favorite for its size, power, efficiency, and interface. The interface is just genius, simple, & versitile - best of any other manufacturer. The beam is very nice. It's more flood than throw, but with the 270Lm throw is admirable. Battery life is exceptional. The clip is sturdy & well positioned. This is the smallest & lightest 18650 light around BY FAR. Way to go Zebralight! |
